Calumet Electronics’ engineering teams double in size to meet increasing demand

HOUGHTON, MI (August 22, 2017) — Calumet Electronics Company (CEC) is investing in new people, software and processes to increase production fifteen percent by the end of 2017. In addition to thirteen new full-time engineers, the company has upgraded its CAM software, increased production shifts and optimized CAM processes. The ultimate goal is to double its current throughput to meet the increasing demand from industries such as aerospace, defense and medical device. (read more)

Houghton, MI (July 31, 2017) — Calumet Electronics further positions itself as an industry leader in printed circuit board engineering with the opening of a new off-site advanced technology center. The center will allow the company to expand its Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) capabilities, lower lead times, increase CAM throughput, and provide access to the diverse talent pool residing in Houghton and Hancock. Calumet Electronics Receives Nadcap Merit Status for Electronic Printed Circuit Boards

CALUMET, Michigan (July 1, 2014) – Calumet Electronics announces that it has been awarded Nadcap Merit status for Electronics. Calumet Electronics has held Nadcap accreditation since 2012. Having demonstrated their ongoing commitment to quality by satisfying customer requirements and industry specifications, the Nadcap Task Group has determined that Calumet Electronics has earned special recognition. This means that, instead of having their next Nadcap audit in twelve months, Calumet Electronics has been granted an accreditation that lasts until December, 2015. (read more)
